A: The office is open Monday- Friday from 9:30 am to 4 pm and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 pm.

Q: Can I check in early?

A: Please email or message us on your day of arrival and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If the property is rented for the night before we will not be able to allow early check in as our team needs time to clean and prepare the property for you arrival. If your vacation plans depend upon an early check-in, please consider renting the property on the night before.

Q: Can I check out late?

A: Unfortunately we do not offer late check outs.

Q: How do I change the date(s) on my reservation?

A: If you booked direct through cedarkeytime.com email your request to info@cedarkeytime.com. If you booked through AirBnb or VRBO request the change directly through that platform.

Q: May I park my boat trailer at the property?
A: All properties offer free parking for a limited number of cars. For single- family properties, boat trailers are considered one parking space of your specified number of spaces. And many properties would require the trailer to be detached from the vehicle. The townhouse and condo listings do not offer trailer parking. This will be specified on the property listing. For oversized trailers or properties that do not include boat trailer parking, please check with the city or the local marina to make accommodations for your boat trailer.

Q: How deep is the water by my vacation rental or at the dock or the marina?

A: If you are visiting the island to boat and/or fish we recommend you check out the NOAA charts. Cedar Key is surrounded by shallow waters and this can make boating/fishing during low and changing tides difficult or impossible depending on where you are and where you want to go. Search 'NOAA chart 11408' online to check the water depth. Search 'NOAA tide predictions' at Cedar Key FL for tide information.

Q: Can I bring my pet with me?

A: Pet friendly properties require the guest to notify management of their pet and pay the associated pet fee. Non- pet friendly homes do not allow pets. A $250 fee will be charged for any unauthorized pet. ESA’s require a written request at time of reservation & official documentation (from a doctor or the government) of a diagnosed disability, unless readily apparent. Service Animals, defined by §413.08, Fla. Stat. (2022), incl. animals in training, require a written request at time of reservation. No documentation is required but a person who knowingly misrepresents him/herself as being qualified to use an ESA or service animal commits a 2nd degree misdemeanor, punishable pursuant to 775.082-083, Fla. Stat. (2022). Management can remove any animal for inappropriate behavior.

Q: Do I get a refund if I cancel my reservation?

A: You will receive a 100% refund for cancellations up to 30 days before arrival. You will receive a 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival if booked on cedarkeytime.com. If booked on AirBnb or VRBO please reference the refund policy on your reservation. Reservations are cancelled without refund if a guest provides intentional false information when reserving.

Q: What happens is there is a hurricane prior to or during my reservation time?

A: If a mandatory evacuation is put in place, all guests affected will be offered to reschedule their stay for anytime in the next 12 calendar months.
