Away from it all = a birdwatchers paradise
Nice to have a private dock on the tidal mudflats! Great birding from the dock and balcony. Easy walk to town with a few bars and restaurants. The cottage is cosy and well maintained. A/C is rather noisy but we got used to it! This is rather a unique spot in an unspoiled island 3 miles out into the gulf. There are great small nature reserves nearby as well as Indian shell mounds. We also trekked around the Shrub reserve on the mainland - also excellent. Cedar Key is a wonderful place!

The host was ever helpful throughout the booking experience. The place was just as pictured. Super cute and right by the water. Would recommend for a cute little getaway.
